Not every corporate event needs a full five-hour package. For shorter gatherings — a brief awards presentation, a two-hour mixer, a quick company announcement event — I offer hourly rates. Why a company party DJ is different from a wedding DJ
The skills overlap, but a corporate celebration has a few things a wedding doesn't:
A program that has to stay on schedule. Speeches, awards, recognition moments, raffles — these have to run on time and sound professional. A corporate DJ manages the mic and the music cues so the program is crisp, not chaotic.
A different crowd to read. A corporate crowd warms up differently than a wedding crowd. People are with coworkers, not family. The energy build is different, and 25 years of experience tells me how to handle it.
A professional setting. I dress for a business event, keep the MC presence polished and appropriate, and represent your company well in front of your employees and guests.
Your reputation on the line. When you're the person who booked the entertainment, the event reflects on you. My job is to make sure it reflects well.

Dinner: Curated dinner music at a level that lets people talk and network. On the mic between courses for any announcements or introductions.
The program (speeches / awards): This is where corporate events live or die. Wireless mic handled cleanly, music ducked and cued around speeches, awards, and recognition. Your CEO's remarks come through clearly. The program stays on schedule.

Behind the scenes, that's weeks of coordination with your planning team, a custom music program matched to your company culture, equipment tested and backed up, and a timeline rehearsed so the speeches, the awards, and the music all hit their cues. On the night of, you get to actually attend your own event instead of running it.

How early should I book a corporate holiday party DJ?
As early as possible. Corporate holiday party season — late November through December — is the most competitive booking window of the year. Many companies book their December party 4-6 months ahead. If your event is in the holiday season, reach out in summer or early fall to secure your date.
Can you do smaller corporate events?
Yes. Not every event needs a full package. For smaller gatherings — short awards presentations, mixers, brief company events — I offer hourly rates. Request a quote and I'll let you know whether a package or hourly booking fits your event better.
What's the difference between this and your A/V services?
This package is for celebrations — parties, awards nights, fundraisers, dinners with dancing. My A/V Services cover technical production events: conferences, seminars, product launches, and presentations that need staging, large-format video, and concert-grade audio.
